POSITION

Marketing Communications & Engagement Specialist


PURPOSE

COMMUNICATION Develops and applies diverse marketing strategies, both digital and print, for internal teams, PASCO families, prospects, and community partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards and audience engagement.

ENGAGEMENT Leads the development and execution of community events aimed at support, accessibility, and education for PASCO families, including public speaking and outreach.

SUPPORT Works with the support team to address client and family concerns, using CRM (Salesforce) for tracking and automation when suitable.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications

  • Design and manage short and long-term communication strategies to increase retention, brand awareness, and satisfaction among clients and caregivers.
  • Develop content for newsletters, social media, email marketing, and the website, ensuring SEO optimization for all digital materials.
  • Manage the production of all marketing materials, both print and digital, ensuring they meet brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and update the PASCO website regularly with fresh content, using SEO best practices to drive traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Create and manage digital ad campaigns
  • Utilizing marketing automation platforms to segment and target audiences effectively.
  • Oversee the CRM (Salesforce) database, ensuring clean data and developing campaigns that nurture leads, prospects, and current families.
  • Strategize and implement cross-channel marketing efforts, including direct mail, social media, and email marketing, leveraging marketing automation tools for efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead the development of training materials such as onboarding kits and training videos in collaboration with HR and other teams.
  • Manage PASCO’s social media platforms, ensuring timely responses to community engagement, while growing followership and enhancing reputation.
  • Support the branding and design of public presentations to community partners and external stakeholders, promoting PASCO’s services and values.
  • Track and report engagement metrics across all communication channels, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Engagement

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of events (non-administrative), including budgeting, promotion, staff coordination, and post-event analysis.
  • Develop the PASCO events calendar, ensuring all community events are strategically aligned with broader organizational goals.
  • Engage with community partners to co-sponsor or participate in events that promote PASCO’s mission and values.
  • Manage public speaking engagements at community events, conferences, and panels to represent PASCO.

Support Duties

  • Coordinate closely with the Support team to ensure that marketing aligns with family feedback and resolves any identified issues using CRM tools for timely follow-up.
  • Help refine internal processes related to both Marketing and Support teams, making use of CRM automation to streamline communication workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

A strong candidate in this role has:

  • Experience with digital marketing, content creation, and event coordination.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (highly preferred) and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective written communication skills with experience developing copy that aligns with brand voice.
  • Experience building and maintaining community partnerships and executing public speaking engagements.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and basic HTML for website management.
  • Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for community and event-based engagements.

    • The person in this role will need to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs on occasions for event set up and break down

PAY 50,000 - 55,000 annually

LOCATION/SCHEDULE: Hybrid working x2 days in office and x3 days remote
