Job Purpose
The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the Human Resources operations of both PASCO and The Therapy Center. This role is responsible for onboarding and off boarding employees, employment processing, training coordination, records management, and employee engagement. A primary focus will be guiding PASCO’s prospective caregiver employees through a smooth, welcoming, and compliant onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Therapy Center Focus
Facilitate employee onboarding and off boarding, including new hire paperwork, I-9/E-Verify, background checks, account setup, and systems training.
Maintain employee files, employment policies, and documentation of employment actions (e.g., performance reviews, disciplinary records).
Conduct exit interviews and process terminations.
Review and verify bi-weekly timesheets, submit payroll updates, and resolve discrepancies.
Serve as a point of contact for HR inquiries and payroll issues.
Monitor and implement employee engagement initiatives; administer retention and recognition programs.
Track licensure, certifications, and exclusions (e.g., OIG checks); maintain accurate HR data.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
PASCO Focus
Establish strong rapport with prospective employees and guide them through each step of the onboarding process.
Conduct virtual onboarding meetings to introduce PASCO, set expectations, and support compliance.
Coordinate with candidates via phone and email; ensure a responsive, positive candidate experience.
Use Salesforce to manage daily onboarding tasks and track progress through the pipeline.
Identify and escalate employment barriers in collaboration with relevant departments.
Coordinate onboarding across multiple departments and external organizations.
Prepare and process onboarding documentation with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA, confidentiality laws, and all federal/state regulations.
Support additional responsibilities as assigned to meet onboarding goals.

Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
1–2 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Comfortable working with diverse populations and across departments.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Team-oriented with a solution-focused mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and EHR systems.
Salesforce experience is a plus.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
