Work Title: IDD Direct Service Provider (DSP)
Compensation: $18.04-$28.47/hr.
Schedule & Location: 1-2 times per week, for a few hours per shift (exact days and times to be determined based on availability) Lakewood, CO 80228

PASCO is hiring an IDD Direct Service Provider (DSP) to work with a female client in the Lakewood area with SIS level 5*; part-time. As a DSP, you’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live more independently at home and in their community.

*The Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) Assessment is used to measure the intensity of support needed for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to be successful in all aspects of their daily life.

What You’ll Do:

• Promote independence for individuals with IDD in home and community settings.

• Support individuals in achieving goals from their Service and Support Plans.

• Build and maintain relationships with individuals receiving services.

• Assist with daily living tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and personal care.

• Provide medication reminders and assistance once trained.

• Help with light housekeeping and home care tasks.

• Coach life skills like meal prep, budgeting, and transportation.

• Assist with behavioral management and crisis intervention as needed.

• Help plan and prepare meals, and assist during mealtime.

• Observe, document, and report changes in well-being, incidents, and concerns.

• Complete required records such as ISP Data, Medication Records, and Behavior Tracking.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain privacy and confidentiality.

• Attend training, meetings, and maintain annual certifications and CEUs.

• Communicate effectively with team members and administration.

• Follow all State, Federal, and PASCO regulations.

• Will work primarily at the client’s home with some community outings.

• Assist with meal prep, grocery shopping.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.

• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Mobility to bend, stoop, kneel, twist at hips

• Visual and auditory acuity to assess needs and respond promptly.

• Ability to understand and follow instructions given by client

• QMAP Certification (Preferred) offered by PASCO

• Home Health Care Experience (preferred)

• Reliable Transportation

• Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
