POSITION: Bilingual Onboarding Coordinator


Job Purpose: To guide prospective employees (caregivers) through the HR onboarding process including Spanish language individuals.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create positive rapport with people selected as prospective employees as they go through applicable onboarding steps, including applying for and finishing school, passing state exams, and fulfilling all compliance requirements.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with applicable prospective employees to discuss PASCO further as an employer and home health provider and set the path for them to pass all compliance requirements to be able to begin employment.
  • Spend a significant portion of time on the telephone speaking with prospective employees and coordinating via email to create a comfortable and welcoming environment as they complete their process.
  • Monitor daily tasks via Salesforce (customer management relationship tool) to move candidates through a process according to preset steps.
  • Identify obstacles and concerns to employment and partner with applicable managers and departments for decisions and necessary steps for resolution.
  • Navigate numerous steps and sometimes complex coordination across different departments at PASCO, and external organizations.
  • Track and report regularly for completion of tasks necessary to onboard a high volume of Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Prepare, deliver, and process on-boarding documentation.
  • Conduct orientation and other initial training to welcome and equip new Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Occasional travel to off-site locations within Denver and surrounding areas for one-on-one orientation and new employee setup.
  • Maintain relationships with CNA schools to provide a network of options for prospective employees.

Additional duties as assigned.

Job requirements

Key Measures of Performance for the Role:

  • The number of prospective employees successfully onboarded.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Feedback from individual new hires.

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:

  • 2 years experience in an Intake, Human Resources, Recruiting, Health Care Administrative, or comparable people-centered role.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronically ill populations is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and the community.
  • Proven track record of identifying and recommending problem resolution.
  • Passion and alignment with the PASCO mission.
  • Excellent customer service delivered reliably and effectively in person and via phone, email, and text. Willingness to spend a high percentage of work time on the phone.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required and Salesforce (or other CRM) preferred.
  • Ability to travel offsite within Denver and immediately surrounding areas for occasional meetings with prospective/new employees or schools.
  • Spanish speaking required.
  • Physical or Other Requirements (with little or reasonable accommodation):
  • Sedentary detailed work
  • Sitting most of the time in front of a computer screen, on the road, or paperwork.
  • Walking and standing are required (up to 1/3 of the time).
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Requires talking, hearing, and detailed work with fingers, such as typing.
  • Requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection).
  • Examples: Positions that require sitting at a desk talking on the telephone, entering data, or processing paperwork that require only occasional walking to meet with others or retrieve items of negligible weight.

Pay Range for this role is :  $20 - $22 /hour
