POSITION
Bilingual HR Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE
The Bilingual HR Coordinator is responsible for ensuring new hire compliance through various technologies and systems, supporting employees—including Spanish-speaking employees—throughout the transition process. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and excellent process execution. The HR Coordinator collaborates closely with the HR & Intake team to drive the overall success of both the team and PASCO.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Caregiver Transitions
Receives employee paperwork and form submissions associated with transitions
Continue positive rapport with families transitioning from one service line to another or adding new services. Guide and assist employees through applicable steps, including paperwork, necessary training, fulfilling all compliance requirements and/or if applicable, applying for and finishing school, passing state exams
Monitor daily tasks via Salesforce (customer management relationship tool) to move candidates through a process according to preset steps. Maintain thorough notes within these tasks
Successfully update HRIS & EHR systems required
Identify obstacles and concerns to employment during transitions and partner with applicable managers and departments for decisions and necessary steps for resolution
Navigate numerous steps and sometimes complex coordination across different departments at PASCO, and external organizations
Compliance
Oversee timely processing of CAPS checks.
Proactive communication with the HR Team when support is needed to address gaps, areas of risk and opportunities for improvement
Work closely with People Operations & Compliance Manager to understand compliance laws and regulations thoroughly; serve as an internal subject matter expert on employee compliance requirements
Audit to ensure that all employment eligibility and requirements are met at hire, at 30 days, and at 6 months.
Develop and execute an employee compliance auditing, under the direction of the People Operations & Compliance Manager, that takes into account risk level and return value.
Work closely with People Operations & Compliance Manager to support with any projects
Oversee PASCO’s maintenance of employee records ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Utilize data to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives that eliminate gaps, streamline processes and maximize employee compliance.
Other:
Act as a bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and clients, fostering strong relationships.

Experience
2 years of experience performing Administrative tasks in an Office Environment
1-2 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred
Bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
High attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to maintain one’s own schedule and meet deadlines.
Ability and willingness to work in teams and extend support to others when asked to solve problems and improve outcomes.
Ability to operate a computer, familiarity with Microsoft products, specifically Outlook and ability to receive and process work in applicable electronic health record systems.
Physical or Other Requirements (with little or reasonable accommodation):
Ability and willingness to be in the Lakewood office on Mondays from 8:30am to 12:00pm. Backup support can be arranged on an as needed basis through the HR Compliance Specialist.
Sitting most of the time in front of a computer screen or paperwork.
Walking and standing are required only occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time).
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Requires talking, hearing and detailed work with fingers, such as typing
Requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection).
Examples: Positions that require sitting at a desk talking on the telephone, or entering data or processing paperwork that require only occasional walking to meet with others or retrieve items of negligible weight.
PAY $22-24
LOCATION/SCHEDULE hybrid with 2 or 3 days onsite; full-time M-F 8:30a - 4:30p
